SAHOURI's Vice President of Commercial Lines, Allen Hudson recognized by Insurance Business as a Top Producer of 2017.
McLean, VA - More than ever, talent is in high demand within the insurance industry. With the advancement of technology and the marketplace expansion it has offered, the industry is experiencing a rebirth.
A large percentage of active agents have reached retirement age, and there is a dire need for motivated individuals willing to lead the insurance industry into a new era. We are proud to house the rare human capital that is shaping the future of insurance, regardless of the obstacles.
This award selects 100 of America's 'top-performing' insurance producers. To qualify, applicants must have a book of business valued at $750K or above.
The award is also a testament to a producer's commitment to the industry. Over 43% of Top Producers have been in insurance for 10-25 years.
Or should he take the path less traveled and join a dynamic family-owned agency, with an opportunity for growth and responsibility?
He chose the latter and joined the SAHOURI. team in 2010.
His strong family background in insurance and belief in continuing education gave him exactly that. Allen had plenty room for growth and went on to create two of the company's fastest growing insurance programs: CUSP (Community Underwriters Specialty Program) and COMRE (Commercial Real Estate).
With 15+ years of experience in the insurance industry, Allen's remains passionate and committed to continuing his education in insurance and then disseminating it. When he's not out in the field, he's teaching someone something about risk management.
Allen is currently one of the youngest commercial insurance professors at the National Alliance of Insurance Education & Research (NAIER). He is also a contributing author on the Quorom Magazine, which is published monthly by the Community Association Institute (CAI).
On a lighter note, Allen co-hosts a morning show with our Real Estate Practice Leader to provide brief risk management tips for community associations.
