My name is Raheemah Tauhidi, I'm a client service representative at Sahouri Insurance. I am a recent graduate with a Liberal Arts Degree in Law and Theology.

Previously, I've worked in a hospital as a Unit Secretary and in a senior living community as an Administrative Assistant. Other positions have also honed my communication skills and work ethic in preparation for my role here at Sahouri. My relevant work experience wasn't the only motivating force behind my decision to join Sahouri, however. It was my interest in medicine and healing that ultimately brought me here.

If you're wondering about the connection between medicine and insurance - its all intertwined! I have always been drawn to natural healing and holistic medicine. I took courses in Oriental Medicine and when I realized that most American health insurance companies don't insure such an under-appreciated practice, I was confused but not surprised.

Wanting to know more and learning about contemporary “ethics” didn’t satisfy my research. I realized that if I wanted to become a practitioner of holistic medicine, it would behoove me to first understand how the “back office” of medicine works - so I joined Sahouri!

Working on the Global Team, I'm proud to advocate on our clients' behalf for their health insurance claims, ensuring their understanding of coverage, and reducing their treatment costs.

In a way, Sahouri is the wholistic practitioner of insurance brokers. We approach account management holistically by performing our due diligence and considering each client as an individual - not a number to analyze or a problem to fix 👩🏽‍⚕️
